Bloomfire has helped our Knowledge Management team create an integrative resource tool that houses processes, procedures, and policies for our front-line representatives and agents. Since its inception, Bloomfire has worked with our specific requests and needs to enhance the experience, both for the creator (Author) and reader. This has then allowed us to expand responsibilities and roles to other departments by empowering them to contribute, edit, and support one another in the expansion of the knowledge base. Every year the ease of use becomes more intuitive and affords us efficiencies we did not have with our last knowledge database.

As a Mulesoft partner benefit, we have given access to Bloomfire as a partner benefit. We frequently use Bloomfire to read the latest available Mulesoft articles. My company mainly deals with Salesforce - Mulesoft integrations so I used Bloomfire to find a number of articles on the same. Some demo videos and accelerator sessions helped me with my real-time use cases.

For us, it's set up as a special tool with articles to help us do our jobs. It's almost like a really user-friendly blog. We can ask questions on it and the answers are shown to help others. It's also set up with other apps we use daily and our time clock. Very very convenient, everything is in one easily accessible place. I like it a lot.

The only time I haven't been able to find what I need when using it I was able to ask my supervisor for help and they immediately posted my issue in an article that helped my fellow coworkers. Bloomfield is great for getting everyone on the same page.

This application has been an invaluable resource to not only house and share information, but also to engage our community to educate and support each other.

Bloomfire is our knowledge hub. We have all of our guidance, reference, and research saved there. We utilize Bloomfire a little differently as we only allow SMEs to update and post. Our users have the ability to flag posts but not comment directly about or respond to questions. Bloomfire has allowed us to not have multiple versions of guides, templates, etc. in use.
  • Allows insight into posts that are not utilized so the team can look into why, or if needed.
  • Allow to publish posts quietly.
  • Ability to follow and bookmark posts is a feature our team uses.
  • Allowing copy and paste from a Microsoft document and being able to keep the formatting.
  • The autosave feature, while nice, causes us to have many saved but not published posts. The correct post is published but the "starter" post is also saved.
  • Allow for view capability of email templates that are uploaded, without having to download to see them.
Bloomfire has been very well suited for our use. It's our one-stop knowledge hub. By design, we don't utilize the collaborative functionality. Any company that has information that needs to be shared, viewable by all or a subset, would benefit from Bloomfire. The management of content is very important, which is true regardless of the application being used. Implementing this solution without consideration of who will manage and curate content will result in outdated information quickly.

We are a data-driven company and being that it is the insurance industry, training and reference materials are essential on a minute-by-minute basis at times. Without this data and reference material, we are dead in the water. The managers in our company have striven to make sure we have that training and information at our fingertips at all times and the tool we use is Bloomfire.

Bloomfire is our primary tool for onboarding across different verticals at Kargo. When the new hires start, we choose a relevant vertical (e.g. business intelligence, revenue operations, product management) and then have access to a host of different training sessions. These sessions vary and can be in the form of videos or articles. The main problem Bloomfire addresses is needing to get employees up to speed quickly and efficiently, and allows employees to access the information most relevant to them.

  • Community access lets you know what people in your organization are working on currently.
  • I would recommend adding a feature to combine different posts/series by job title (so in addition to the Revenue Ops category, there could be a structured walkthrough for Revenue Manager).
  • Live Q+A sessions for group onboarding initiatives.
  • Ability to label bookmarks by priority/job type.
I think Bloomfire is most appropriate in a medium to large business entity since onboarding can be difficult without an organized tool to prioritize job functions. It would be most well suited for positions that incorporate data analytics/reporting and consist of regular deliverables. So for example: if an accountant wants to learn how to compile a cash flow statement but also has to turn it into a client-facing presentation, there are resources specific to internal accounting and then separate resources (also in the accounting vertical) for data visualizations and client reporting.

We use Bloomfire for all our install documents and training manuals. The only issue we have seen is that the search features are not that good. If we type in a specific word or part number many other results come up and the one we search for is on the bottom. Also, when clicking on the item you searched for and when you go back, it brings you back to the home page and not your results.

Our organization is spread across multiple states. Bloomfire is a platform where all the centers in the company can unite and access information as a whole. It is easy to use and search for anything needed from HR, payroll, operations, etc. This website has saved me so much time and effort by having all my answers in one place!

We use it to share valuable and timely information with all of the other partners. We are constantly getting new versions of older documents and brand new documents and with Bloomfire we can easily stay up to date with the latest information. We also have the ability to comment on the materials and share ideas and questions.

Bloomfire works great for managing a large database of knowledge, like whitepapers, blog posts, and other documents that you want to share openly with a large audience.
I don't think it handles security well, so I would not recommend it for confidential information, although maybe there is a feature that I am unaware of that would make that possible.

Bloomfire is used as a reference tool to locate answers when you need to have one in a hurry, you type in keywords and the search will return everything subject related to the keyword or search word used. Less is more, the more targeted/specific you are, the better your search results.

It is being used by the whole organization, we are using it here to keep all KT documents and static configuration files of web servers and Linux containers. It helps all our employees to deploy new assets easily with very little help from any senior resource. With Bloomfire our organization is very well organized and deploying a new server has now become very easy for our employees as they now have access to all the required documents and config files.

  • Makes it a lot [easier to manage] new resources and train them.
  • Should have had the feature of user stories, as azure develops.

  • The search algorithm could have been a little better, it misses finding an exact match sometimes.
It is very well suited for startups [that have] a team of less than 300. I would recommend this mostly for startups who need to get things done faster, where there is a time constraint and things need to be delivered quickly. Bloomfire really accelerates our training and learning procedures as all the required things are available at the fingertips of the new joiners and they can go through those files whenever needed. If some organization has multiple products or applications in scope and has a team size of more than thousands then using Bloomfire would be a little challenging for them, since the amount of data and files would increase and searching will not be very convenient for them.

Bloomfire has been a great and useful resource tool for us as employees. We can literally look up any products and get all the information that we need to perform to the best of our abilities within this site. It is amazing and truly a blessing. I'm a relatively new employee to the company, and it seems like we are using Bloomfire for many things. In my role, we use it as a knowledge base of self-help articles, almost as a wiki. We also post announcements and constantly changing information like contact information here. I believe other departments use it as a dashboard with company news and information relevant to their jobs.

  • Easily updated - No strange code or obscure formatting options.
  • Feedback options - People can post below articles or flag articles for review.
  • Search function needs more SEO, but that may be because of my company's implementation.
Bloomfire is useful for posting specific articles or broad overviews and technical manuals. It is only as useful as you make (and maintain) it. The way my department uses it, it's not very useful for rapid dissemination of mission-critical information, but it is useful for putting info out there for people to search for and find.

We use Bloomfire at our company mainly to share info to each other since we work at different branches and from home. We just started to use Bloomfire to help manage information for our training all in one place. For training we like how it's a central location for trainers and trainees to track the training and leave comments. We also enjoy using Bloomfire for training, since it's great accountability system, we can track users' engagement with training posts and exercises.

Bloomfire is used by all the company departments and teams to research, select and download any type of material that can be used externally (presentations, videos, agreements, etc.). Every user can search for specific documents that are organized on the platform with keywords and sections, see their previews and download the selected file for their own use.

Bloomfire is used for our knowledge base. It is used by the Associate Support Department. It helps with providing accurate information to the field. The Knowledge Base has examples of many correct processes. Everyone in Associate Support has access to the Bloomfire Knowledge Base.

Bloomfire was used as a knowledge management platform for sharing documents with a wide tech community. The community was international and across the globe with varied levels of concurrent usage. It's simple to use, possess powerful search, bookmarking, flagging, sharing and all key capabilities which you would expect for a document management tool. Being a SaaS product makes it more operations friendly.

A complete knowledge management tool. It's SaaS based, so it's maintenance friendly, scales to your needs, supports great integration support with all major enterprise tools like Teams, Salesforce, Zendesk etc. Its SSO feature enables simple and single sign on feature with existing identity providers. It has a good support model.

If you want to go for a good and reliable enterprise knowledge management product, it stands out.

We use Bloomfire as our knowledge base. Our campus community uses public content to look up and find answers to their technology questions. We also have a private group with posts for IT Techs only.

Bloomfire enables us to:
1) provide consistent support -- using Bloomfire posts to respond to customers, helps our responses to be the same or similar regardless of the technician.
2) allows 24x7 support -- our customers have access to Bloomfire posts regardless of our Help Desk service hours.
3) training - using Series, we can create lists of posts to use for position training and new employee onboarding.
  • Ease of use -- Even non-technical people can create posts providing department-specific information and instructions.
  • Built-In analytics -- Allows reporting to management [with] relatively little work.
  • Bulk updates -- invaluable for changes in personnel and curation.
  • Their customer service has been outstanding.
  • Customizing the site to our brand required coding.
  • Possibly optimizing the search -- we find users getting too many results.
  • Configuring automatic curation so authors are notified of stale content.
  • Content bulk change -- this would be helpful when a link changes or a product is updated.
Our Bloomfire knowledge base works extremely well to post Answers to common questions, and step-by-step instructions for products and services we support. Our customers can self-help, freeing up our Help Desk technicians to trouble-shoot specific issues. All support staff can often respond to customer requests with a link to an Answers (Bloomfire) post.

Bloomfire has helped me so much in this new job position. It has given me the resources that I need to be successful. When I am unsure of something I always refer to Bloomfire as it is the main source of accurate information for the company I work for. It helps employees in giving us the confidence that we need when we are unsure of certain policies or procedures.

  • It allows graphs and pictures etc. which is very good because people do have different learning styles.
  • It allows you to update information and processes the updates in a timely manner.
  • It allows you to like and comment.
  • In the "ask a question" tab it should have more details like a drop down of FAQ.
  • Sometimes related content at the bottom of the page has nothing to do with the content I am actually looking for.
Bloomfire has helped me so much because this is where my job script is located . It allows me to stay organized when speaking with my clients. When I am unsure on a certain situation I always refer to Bloomfire and just type in the key words in the search engine and it brings up the article that I need.

The search option is good to narrow the possible results of what you are looking for. It is displayed in a manner that looks like reading a news paper online. I would like to get like a list of the articles I access more frequently or a list of trendy articles. I love that I can comment on the articles posted like if it was my Instagram or Facebook feed.
